Middlesex County League early kick-off no. 4 (21 March 2009)
THE fourth match in the Middlesex League's series of Saturday morning kick-offs took place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea South Grounds, Royal Hospital Road, London SW3 4SR, home of Sloane FC. This is the most centrally-located football ground in London and it is also the site of the Chelsea Flower Show! The game produced seven goals with Sloane coming out on top 4-3 against Copland in front of an estimated attendance of 120. Sloane produced their first-ever programme to mark the occasion. The official attendance was 128 and there is likely to be another early kick-off organised during April.

Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Football Bonanza (13-14 March 2009)
This year's 6th Annual Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Football Bonanza attrached fans from all over the UK and indeed French, Swedish, German, Australian and Japanese fans as well.

WELSH AND HELLENIC LEAGUE GROUNDHOP 24-27 August 2007
The sixth Welsh Groundhop, held in conjunction with the eighth Hellenic League Groundhop, began on Friday 24 August 2007. As in 2006, the weekend featured no fewer than eleven matches over the August Bank Holiday weekend. This year’s Welsh hop featured five games from both divisions of the Thunder Road Motorcycles South Wales Amateur League, whilst the Hellenic League hop had six matches across all three divisions.

We kicked off on Friday evening with a trip to AFC Porth at 6.30pm. On Saturday, our opening match was at Llangynwyd Rangers (10.15am), followed by Brynna (1.15pm), Gilfach Goch Athletic (4pm), and finally Blaenrhondda at 6.45pm. Sunday saw us head into Gloucestershire for the two-day Hellenic hop to visit Tytherington Rocks (11am), Shortwood United (2.30pm), and Fairford Town (6pm). Monday began at Wantage (11.15am) before we travelled to Henley (2pm) and the hop rounded off at Eton Wick (6pm).
